Finance and Society, vol. 8 no. 1 (2022).

The editors of Finance and Society are pleased to announce the publication of volume 8, number 1. The issue includes research articles by Stefano Sgambati on debt and class struggle, Ronen Palan and Richard Phillips on corporate arbitrage power, and Jo Walton on the colonial tropes of cryptocurrency discourse. It also features an essay by Kristian Bondo Hansen on the history of mass retail investment and a review essay by Tom Duterme on a mid-century precursor to the social studies of finance. The issue is fully open-access and freely available to all.
